Rouba provides media training and coaching for senior executives to better represent their companies amongst members of the press and the public, especially during crisis. She also helps aspiring professionals to sharpen their public speaking skills through private and group workshops.
Her love for human empowerment inspires her to continuously seek a fresh approach to her work as a means of facilitating professional and personal growth.
This also led her to pursue an MBA in Coaching, Mentoring and Leadership.
As a TEDx speaker and a passionate supporter of environmental justice, Rouba is known for being outspoken on various causes, particularly women and children’s rights, and gender equality. Through her talks at Facebook Middle East, Abu Dhabi Ideas Weekend at New York University, BoldTalks and various other avenues, she has addressed major issues such as gender parity, self-development, and personal growth.
As an advocate of environment awareness amongst children, Rouba co-wrote and published an educational fiction adventure book called Boto, aimed at raising awareness of environmental issues faced by the ocean and the species that live in it.
Rouba managed regional award-winning campaigns for American Express, Nestlé, Avaya, Pepsico, Hyperloop One, Gulf Air, NIKE, Gillette, Coca Cola, Qatar Foundation, Doha Debates (aired by BBC World), Abu Dhabi Department of Transport, Bahrain International Boat Show and Al Aan TV, amongst many others.
She successfully conceptualized and directed multiple award-winning brand and product launches for Daimler Chrysler, Jazeera Airways, American Express, Motorola, Volvo, Nissan, GMC, Sahara Center, Notions Group, and Maxwell House.
Her work includes award-winning campaigns within the art, culture, and education sectors for the likes of Abu Dhabi International Sculpture Symposium, Beirut Art Fair, Singapore Art Fair, and the Arbor School – the first ecological school in the region.
Her work with pharmaceutical companies such as Hoffman-La Roche, GlaxoSmithKline, Abbott and BAYER helped add major value to these giants’ overall communication efforts within a highly restrictive industry where together with the brand managers, she sought creative approaches to engage the medical community and members of the press.
She also developed CSR programs and crisis management manuals for various corporations including wasl asset management, Gulf Air, Notions Group and Brazilian Food Company.
Rouba also developed and fronted internal relations strategies and campaigns for Kuwait Oil Company, Oman Oil, and Abu Dhabi Municipality.
