Privacy policy.
How Commzguru collects, uses and protects your personal information. Last updated: October 2026.
This policy explains how Commzguru ("we", "us") handles personal information collected through commzguru.com. We keep what we collect to the minimum needed, and we never sell your information.
What we collect
- The Commzguru letter and book updates: your email address and your consent to receive emails.
- The S.H.I.A.N.E. assessment: your answers, your resulting profile, and the name and email address you give us so we can send your results.
- The contact form: your name, email, organisation (if given), the subject of your enquiry and your message.
- Technical information: our hosting and security providers process basic technical data, such as IP addresses, to deliver the site and protect it from abuse.
How we use it
- To send you your assessment results and the emails you asked for.
- To reply to your enquiry and, where relevant, prepare a proposal.
- To understand, in aggregate, how the assessment and the site are used, so we can improve them.
We rely on your consent for emails, which you can withdraw at any time using the unsubscribe link in every email, and on our legitimate interest in replying to enquiries and keeping the site secure.
Who we share it with
We use a small number of trusted service providers to run the site: our web host, our email newsletter platform, our transactional email service (which sends assessment results) and our website security provider. They process information only on our instructions. Some of them may store data outside the United Arab Emirates, with appropriate safeguards in place.
How long we keep it
We keep newsletter details until you unsubscribe, assessment results for as long as you remain subscribed or up to two years, and enquiries for as long as needed to respond and keep a reasonable business record.
Your rights
You can ask to see, correct or delete the personal information we hold about you, or object to how we use it. Email us at ask@commzguru.com and we will respond within 30 days.
Cookies
The site does not use advertising cookies. If we add analytics, we will update this policy and, where required, ask for your consent first.
